Course Description
This is a Mental and Emotional Well-being Coaching Course. We need to take proactive steps to protect ourselves against the negative mental and emotional effects of COVID-19. Being prepared is the best protection against the stresses associated with Covid-19.
Among many global health, economic and societal disruptions, the COVID-19 corona virus outbreak has forced hundreds of millions to physically isolate. Combine that with extensive news coverage on the pandemic and an unknown future, and it’s no wonder that anxiety is on the rise. Global issues like this can feel incredibly overwhelming because there is so much uncertainty around it.
This Course will prepare you, mentally, for the road ahead.
Structure of the Course
This Course is structured into two Modules with a total of twenty-two lessons.
Each lesson will be made up of a Reading requirement. The text for the Reading will be provided.
All the reading material and assessment will be available online.
This
is a self-paced Course. You can easily
complete the course in 22 days, if you do one lesson a day (which will
literally be few minutes per lesson).
You can choose to complete the Course by doing one module a day for two
days or you can complete the entire Course in one day. Our suggestion is that you pace yourself to
complete the course in 3 days. The
choice is yours.
Assessments/Reinforcement
This is a Customized Needs-driven Resilient Health [Coaching] Course.
The type of assessment is designed not to “test” you but to reinforce the principles from each Lesson. The Course is designed for you to pass. It is not designed to penalise you for getting anything wrong but to promote you for getting everything correct. This is positive reinforcement and the basis of Academic Coaching. No real teaching takes place until learning has taken place. This type of assessment is based on the premise: What’s worth remembering is worth repeating.
No one can fail this course! You can either successfully complete the course or not. You will have access until you pass the Course or until it is available online.
The type of questions for assessment/reinforcement will be:
Multiple choice and/or Fill in the Blanks and True or False.
Reflective
reinforcement / Self-assessment questions.
Certificate
At the end of the course you will receive a Certificate of Competence in demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge about the Principles of
EQUILIBRIUM – Maintaining Mental and Emotional Well-being – During and after COVID-19
This certificate is very important to demonstrate understanding and competence of the Course content. It is indeed a rare achievement.
